18 Coaches are
posted in the stadium to impart scientific and technical coaching in all
the games except Handball, Squash, & wrestling. Sports
equipment is provided to the players free of cost as and when received from
Director, Sports & Youth Welfare Deptt.Haryana Chandigarh.
Different Youth Welfare Activities are also organized by
this office such as Cultural work shop, Seminars, training programme. Deptt. has sent youths relating to adventure
sports i.e. Trekking, River Rafting, Para-sailing, Gliding, Rock Climbing &
Skiing.
National Level
- Mr.Deepak represented Haryana in the 24th National
Yoga Championship which was held at Karnataka from 28 to 31.10.99 in the age
group of 21 to 25 years won gold medal.
- Mr. Rahul represented Haryana in the School National
games which was held at Moga (Punjab) from 16 to 19.11.99. He participated in
Volleyball Team & got first place.
- Mr.Mahabir, Balwant, Dharmender represented Haryana
in the All India Civil Service Volleyball Championship which was held at
Ambala from 27 to 29.12.99 and team got 2nd position.
- Mr. Ravinder got first place in Inter University
Volleyball Championship which was held at Kurukshetra from 8 to 15.11.99
(North Zone Winner)
- Neha Narwal represented Haryana in 37th National
Roller Skating Championship held at Chandigarh from 14 to 18.12.99 and won
gold medal in Road Race-1 & Bronze medal in Rink Race-II in the age group
of 6 to 8 Years. She also participated in 45 National School games held at
Moga (Punjab) in the month of Nov.99, & got gold medal in Roller Skating
Jr. Hockey & gold medal in Road Race-1.
- Reema Bhandari represented Haryana in 37th National
Roller Skating Championship held at Chandigarh from 14 to 18.12.99
& got Silver medal in Road Race-1 in the age group of 10 to 12 years. She
also participated in 45th National School Games held at Moga (Punjab) in the
month of Nov.99 & got gold medal in Roller Skating Jr.Hockey & Silver
medal in Rink Race.
- Siddhrtha Uppal represented Haryana in 37th National
Roller Skating Championship held at Chandigarh from 14 to 18.12.99
& got silver medal in Rink Race-1 in the age group of 12 to 14 years.
- Varuna Nohar represented Haryana in 37th National
Roller Skating Championship held at Chandigarh from 14 to 18.12.99 &
got silver medal in Rink Race-1 in the age group of 12 to 14 years.
- Mr. Ravi Kant Malik represented Haryana in the 45th
National School games held at Moga (Punjab) in the month of Nov.99 & got
bronze medal in Roller Skating Jr. Hockey.
- .Tanvi Mittal represented Haryana in the 45th
National School games held at Moga (Punjab) in the month of Nov.99 & got
Gold medal in Roller Skating Jr. Hockey.
- Parteek Narwal represented Haryana in 37th National
Roller Skating Championship held at Chandigarh from 14 to 18.12.99 & got
gold medal in fun Race & silver medal in obstacle Race in the age group of
below 6 years.
- Mr.Amar Jeet Singh represented Haryana in 37th
National Roller Skating Championship held at Chandigarh from 14 to
18.12.99 & bronze medal in Sr.Roller Skating Hockey.
(Achievement) :-
Sh. Surjeet Man represented India & participated in
Sr. wrestling Asian Championship Tashkand (Ujnakistan) & got bronze medal in
69 Kg. from 26 to 30.5.99. 2. Sh. Rajkumar represented India & participated
in 6th Korf Ball Championship which was held at Adeladia (Australia) from 10 to
17.7.99. Sh. Surjeet Singh and sh. Krishan kumar represented India in Circle
Kabaddi against Pakistan in 2000. Others so many players represented haryana in
various games every year.
